It’s been a fantastic season for game releases. But I’m a very picky gamer. Here are 4 games I’d love to find in a pile under the tree (hint, hint). And what am I thankful for this season? Having an Xbox One.
4. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – I already have this game. I don’t want to be too greedy over the holidays, but I love it so much that I want more. One reason is I can’t get enough of the twins. It’s great, because my boyfriend plays and Jacob and I play as Evie, so neither of us feels left out. Hope to wake up Christmas morning and find some add-ons waiting for me (I mean, us).
3. Forza Motorsport 6 – I’m not a great driver (fingers crossed that my boyfriend isn’t reading this) and don’t usually play racing games (MarioKart being the one exception). But there’s no denying that Forza Motorsport 6 has the sexiest cars I’ve ever seen. If I can’t drive one of them in real life, I want to drive them all virtually.
2. Star Wars Battlefront – I don’t think this game’s presence on my list even needs to be explained. I’m just a girl who loves her Star Wars – mainly the Ewoks. But maybe it’s a bad idea if this ends up in my stocking because it might take over my life. Regardless, I will celebrate in true Ewok fashion by singing “Yub Nub“.
1. Rise of the Tomb Raider – I’ve been waiting for this game for far too long. Cheers to a badass female avatar, awesome puzzles, and beautiful graphics. It just looks awesome. Thank you to Lara for representing us women in the world of gaming avatars. (Is it weird that I’m torn between wanting to be more like Lara or Kate Middleton? Or maybe be Kate Middleton by day and then have a secret life as Lara…)
